What Do we Do?
The Greene County DPA office’s responsibilities include the prosecution of criminal offenses, as well as essential public services such as our Victim/Witness Coordination, which provides guidance and support to victims throughout the legal process. We also manage a Hot Check Division to help individuals and businesses recover losses from non-sufficient funds or closed account checks. Additionally, our office is involved in Involuntary Commitment proceedings for individuals experiencing severe mental health or substance abuse crises, working in coordination with medical professionals and courts to ensure both individual care and public safety. We are proud to serve alongside law enforcement, social services, and the community to uphold the rule of law and protect the well-being of all citizens.
